BIT Patna Campus is a fully residential institute and provides boarding facilities in single as well as double seated rooms to all its bonafide students.There are at present 3 hostels(2 for boys and 1 for girls) inside the campus,while one is currently under construction.There are ample rooms to accomodate whole batch strength.These hostels are situated in a calm and quiet environs at a foot distance from the institute.The environment is designed to accelerate multi-dimensional development of the students.

Each hostel is provided with signals of Wi-Fi to access resources available on the Internet and Intranet.Each student is provided with a chair,a cot, a table, a cupboard of his own.Plugs are available to connect electrical gadgets. Various facilities provided to the students include TV, Common Room (having various indoor games like Carrom,Table Tennis), Water coolers with Aquaguard.Each hostel receives daily newspapers both in English and Hindi.Students can avail laundry facilities by paying extra charges.In a nutshell, the hostels are designed to provide students with a home away from home.
Rules and Regulations
Students residing in the hostel must not indulge in any such activities which is illegal by nature and directly or indirectly defames the institute.Breach of discipline is an intolerable offense and may lead to severe actions including expulsion from the institute.At the time of admission students are provided with a book containing code of conduct for the students.The students must strictly adhere to those rules during their stay at the campus.Ragging in any form in the hostel is strictly banned and will attract legal action.Victims are advised to inform the Hostel Superintendant/Warden/Member of Anti-Ragging Cell immediately about any such activity.
